Eternal Father, Holy Name,
Watch o'er the ones who fight the flame.
Protect them from the raging heat
And all the dangers that they meet.
Grant them from thy great throne above
The shield and shelter of thy love.

Lord, guard and guide all those who say,
"The flames shall not harm you this day."
Be with them always in their plight,
And give them vict'ry in the fight.
Invoke your pow'r as in the past,
That smoke and fire be quenched at last.
